The engineers at KENDA have exploited every possibility for water displacement and grip when developing this tyre. Winter tyres face significantly lower temperatures than everyday tyres, which is why the K701 uses a special rubber compound that is optimally adapted to winter conditions.

This compound is softer and less susceptible to temperature fluctuations. Thanks to special additives, the tyre retains its elasticity even at low temperatures. The deep groove profile is channelled and effectively drains water to the outside.

In addition, sipes have been integrated into the tread blocks to improve water displacement and provide additional grip. These measures prevent water from accumulating under the tread. Overall, the K701 is a sophisticated, safe and highly recommended tyre.

The K701 carries the legally required M+S label and is therefore approved as a winter tyre. However, it can also be used as an all-season tyre without any problems.
